At Ink, we produce award winning travel magazines with a difference, so it’s vital that the candidate be a confident self-starter. You must be organised, willing to work as part of a small team and with a proven track record of picture research and shoot/production experience.

The role 

- Picture research for various titles and departments, sourcing images from a variety of agencies and outlets.

- Helping with shoot commissions.

- Ensuring images are credited correctly across our titles.

- Helping the content teams with budgeting and fee negotiation.

Desired skills 

- Two-three years’ experience. 

- Strong eye for compelling visuals and ideas for content across a selection of locations and interests. 

- Excellent contacts and picture knowledge.

- Understanding of Adobe Photoshop and Indesign. 

- Experience in the negotiating and securing of assets from multiple sources including photographers, videographers, and other sources including agencies.

The Video/multimedia Sales Director is primary focused on carrying out daily sales activities that will drive revenue. This position is also responsible for the coordination, profitability and growth of the video asset.

The ideal candidate for this role is a diligent and proactive leader that is deeply invested in the growth and development of the product. You must be a self-starter who can listen, quickly create value, drive strategic vision, and deliver results.


Responsibilities:

  • Sell video advertising by developing strong partnerships with media buyers, C-Level executives and key decision makers.

  • Formulate and implement strategic sales plans, forecasts, budgets and other activities through research and analysis of market/country data to establish new opportunities.

  • Identify prospects and utilize a consultative sales approach to leverage client’s needs.

  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and changing territory demographics.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional internal advertising sales groups and outside sales representatives.

  • Prepare sales presentations, negotiate sales agreements and coordinate payment terms in accordance with

We’re looking for someone with flair and creative passion. They must have a friendly can-do attitude, be inclusive with their ideas and deliver great content. The position is deadline- driven, so they must be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment, across multiple titles.

Responsibilities

You will be:

  • art directing photoshoots where needed
  • art directing and leading the design of all creative for the American Airlines account
  • working with the picture desk to organize all photoshoots and image call-ins 
  • working closely with the editors to plan and execute each magazine
  • working with in-house and overseas production teams to ensure delivery of designed files in a timely manner
  • managing the creative budget

Skills

A successful candidate must have:

  • minimum 8-years’ experience art directing
