Advertorials

Write advertorials to magazine house style.

Bring native content to life with sharp, smart and powerful writing.

Write, edit and sub-edit copy across our portfolio of titles.
Manage workloads and stick to editorial deadlines.

Liaise with sales teams and check salesforce to list all planned advertorials for each magazine for the month.

Liaise with sales to obtain advertorial and booking confirmation forms.

Contact confirmed advertorial clients with advertorial specifications, advising on image formats, word count, and house style and requesting material from clients.
Email advertorials to clients for feedback/approval and taking in client design changes, passing text changes to the editor.
Obtain and archive client advertorial approvals.
Check designs of final printed proofs.  

Commercial Concepts

Liaise with sales and commercial teams and obtain briefs for creative concepts to be pitched to potential advertisers for display ad campaigns, high impact units and advertorials for a variety of media channels.

Based out of Ink’s London office, you will work alongside one of our busy airlines ensure their admin is complete will searching for leads on companies and brands that are best suited to the airline. This is to ensure that you are familiar with the environment and culture of the business whilst undergoing a training programme by our onsite trainer.

    Business Development Assistant

    The core function of the Business Development department within Ink is to win new business contracts, create positive external awareness of the company in the market place and further develop the existing client relationships. That includes communicating with all clients, building relationships, forging new opportunities and responding to clients’ needs and requirements.     Main responsibility
    As a new role, the Business Development Assistant will be responsible for:

    • Assisting the BD Director in delivering the above services across all Ink offices (based at London HQ)
    • Supporting key senior personnel in the application of initiatives and strategies across the company
    • Providing comprehensive administrative support for the Business Development, creative and sales function

    Key Responsibilties.

    • Reporting to the Business Development Director, and supporting the requirements of the Sales Directors, Editorial and Creative Directors and CEOs
    • To send regular performance reports to our clients
    • To assist in the development and / or updating of all Business Development policies and procedures and to assist in implementation and monitoring of use
    • Drafting presentations
    • Updating and maintaining our database of clients, contacts and their latest developments
    • Maintaining and updating certain sections of the company website
    • Carry out research and project work as required
    • Produce and circulate monthly reports on key business development matters
    • Attend routine meetings when required to support the company to achieve its business objectives
    • General office duties

    Essential Skills

    • Able to demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills
    • Have proven IT skills and ability to adapt new technology (must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Keynote)
    • Excellent communication skills including oral and written presentation skills
    • The ability to work with the minimum of supervision
    • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
    • Multitasking and prioritisation
    • Presentable and comfortable in front of clients

    Desirable Skills

    You 

    You will manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a primary emphasis on the generation of new business along with account management of your clients. Successful sales executives need to be aware of changes in the market that impact their target audience. You will be dealing with buyers, directors and key decision makers - negotiating terms of contracts and closing deals with them on a daily basis. In addition you will also be:
