Ink is recruiting for a creative solutions manager to join its successful and growing creative solutions department based in Ink’s London Headquarters. The manager will be fully responsible for managing a team of 6 creatives, delivering increased revenues through innovative creative ideas, and should have previous experience in a ‘creative solutions’, design, edit or sales role. The successful candidate will be confident, have excellent management skills and creativity in abundance. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Day to day management of the creative solutions team
  • Pro-actively conceiving and presenting new creative ideas
  • Regular production of advertorials, special supplements, inserts for our portfolio of titles, as well as concepts and in-house graphic requirements
  • Liaising with sales teams to ensure the smooth delivery of projects on time and to an exceptional quality
  • Regular meetings with CS team to manage workloads, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Reporting directly to the Creative Solutions Director.
  • Regular check-ins and support to creative solutions staff in global offices.
  • Increasing revenues through more creative inserts, driving higher yields and delivering increased volumes of artwork.

Required skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years in a creative solutions role within print.
  • Design skills essential, with understanding of print processes and Adobe creative suite.
  • Management experience essential
  • Reputation for being well-organised, creative and a perfectionist with a meticulous eye for detail
  • Ability to think on your feet and react quickly to changing demands of advertising clients
  • Experience in writing/editing would be preferred
  • Multi-tasker with ability to prioritise work
  • Understanding of smart, modern design and photography trends

(3 months fixed term contract)   

Main purpose of job:

To backfill and support across many areas in financial control and support the UK Group Financial Accountant. 

Tasks:

  • Build a currency forecast model.
  • Build an AP forecast model.
  • Build a new intercompany reconciliation process.
  • Build a corporation tax model across UK, US and Singapore.
  • Assisting in finance projects, legal entity closures & tax.
  • Assist in creating a finance policy handbook, documenting various policies throughout the company.
  • Assist in audit preparation.
  • Assist with the implementation of new financial controls.
  • Barter analysis.
  • Assist in the monthly currency revaluation process.
  • Support FP&A where applicable
  • Other ad hoc duties.

The Job

All our TAD Global Sales Account Managers need to be aware of any changes in the market that affect their target audience. Most of our inflight magazines are published monthly, though some are bi-monthly or quarterly.

As Hungarian Speaking Media Sales Executive you will be selling advertising space into inflight magazines to businesses who benefit from attracting a travelling audience. You will manage the entire sales process - from lead sourcing to closing the sale - to ensure delivery against key performance metrics. You will also take responsibility and ownership of any new business brought on board.

At Ink we let you be your own boss – responsible for managing the entire sales process, from lead sourcing to closing the deal – to ensure you deliver against our key performance metrics. You will also take responsibility and ownership of any new business brought on board. You will be dealing with an array of clients: buyers, directors, key decision-makers, and you will be negotiating contracts and closing deals with all of them. You’ll be on the phone – a lot. If it can be done by phone, we get dialling. If not, we get on a plane and see clients in person.

Don’t worry, experience isn’t essential – we promise to provide you with all the tools necessary for success. After all, we want you to be your best as much as you do!

Main purpose of the job:

The purpose of this role is to support the senior finance team to ensure strong cash and balance sheet controls are in place and to assist in strengthening the Financial Control function.

Responsibilities

  • Weekly preparation of rolling 13 week short term cash-flow with weekly KPI reporting.
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Preparing commissions calculations on a monthly basis.
  • Quarterly preparation of VAT returns, ECSL returns and other compliance.
  • Assist Group Financial Accountant to create and enforce a stronger Financial Control Policy.
  • Assist in building and maintaining a monthly derived balance sheet.
  • Assist in preparation for the annual audit.
  • Assist in creating a finance policy handbook.      
  • Other ad hoc duties.
