Ink, the leading global inflight magazine publisher with such titles as American Way, Nexos, Celebrated Living, Hemispheres and The National, is seeking a Media Sales Lead to join our dynamic and rapidly grown team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling digital/out-of-home advertising by contacting top global media agencies, top 5000 brands, start-ups and SMB’s. Our sales representatives manage our innovative sales process from initial contact to completion. What you'll Love Doing:
- Actively identifying and sourcing prospective clients and maintain a robust pipeline of business leads
- Conducting cold calls, engaging prospects and following up on sales opportunities
- Creating and driving territory growth strategies to meet and exceed performance metrics
- Negotiating sales agreements and payment terms in accordance with company parameters
- Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and changing territory demographics
- Preparing sales presentations and coordinating closing agreements
- Serving as main point of contact addressing client/prospect questions and concerns
Who you are:
- • Minimum 1-year sales experience
- • A strong and proven track record of successfully selling to the following industries: travel & tourism, auto, entertainment, media, gaming, fashion/beauty and consulting services industries.
- • Strong knowledge of ad tech and how to use it when selling audiences and targeting to fit the needs of customers.
- • Must be a creative thinker with the ability to create fresh and innovative ideas that will drive revenue
- • Some experience selling TV/OTT preferred but not required
- • Ability to package multiple assets and sell across many types of customers
- • Able to travel up to 30% of the year to San Francisco and New York
- • Account management and industry networking experience
- • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
- • Ability to focus and thrive in high-pressure conditions
