Rhapsody Magazine for United Airlines picked up the prestigious Gold Award for the Best Use of Photography at the Content Councils Pearl Awards in New York last night.
The Awards celebrate excellence in content marketing across print, digital and multi-channel platforms and, for the first time, they choose to not make a general distinction between print and digital efforts allowing judges to evaluate without respect to platform.
Rhapsody and Hemisphere Magazine Editor Jordan Heller said: "I'm so delighted that Rhapsody has won the Content Councils Award for best use of photography. At the same time, I'm not surprised. Our design director Christos Hannides and our photo director Jessie Adler have been impeccable at targeting the best photographers in the business and working with them and our editors here to produce content that I'm incredibly proud of. I'd also like to thank our client, United Airlines, for giving us an amazing platform and being wonderful partners."
Michael Keating, CEO of Ink, said: "I am thrilled that Ink has picked up its second media award of the week in recognition of the content that we create and produce every day. To have received this prestigious acknowledgement in New York for our partner United Airlines so soon after the Travel Media Awards win in London for easyJet, is a real accolade for our creative teams in both offices.” For a full list of winners please click here.
